Peter Dolan Bio

Peter Dolan, a Managing Director, is responsible for overseeing Makena’s Private Equity investments, including Venture Capital. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Makena, Peter served as a Managing Director at the Harvard Management Company where he oversaw the Private Equity and Venture Capital portfolio. Prior to joining the Harvard Management Company in 1995, he worked as a consultant at Cambridge Associates and as a private equity analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Peter served as a Board member of the University of Virginia Investment Management Company for a ten-year period ending June 2012. Peter received an MBA degree from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
