Bill McGrath Bio

Bill McGrath, a Managing Director, is responsible for Makena's legal affairs and compliance. Bill leads the firm’s Compliance Committee. Before joining Makena, Bill was the EVP & General Counsel at Vulcan Inc., the family investment office of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Prior to Vulcan, Bill held senior legal positions at several Silicon Valley-based technology companies and worked for two national law firms. Bill received his BA in Political Science from Claremont McKenna College and his law degree from the University of Chicago.
