Gillis Cashman Bio

Mr. Cashman joined M/C Partners in 1999 and has focused on investment opportunities in the wireline broadband infrastructure and services portion of the firm's portfolio. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Denovo, Ensono, Everstream, Involta, PlumChoice and Thrive Networks. Previous board seats include: Baja Broadband (acquired by TDS), Cavalier Telephone (acquired by PAETEC), City Signal Communications (acquired by Cavalier Telephone), CSDVRS (sold to Kinderhook), Elantic Networks (merged with Cavalier Telephone), FDN Networks (merged with NuVox Communications), MCCC ICG Holdings (acquired by Level 3), Onvoy and Zayo Group (IPO). Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cashman was with Salomon Smith Barney in the Global Telecommunications Corporate Finance Group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the wireline and wireless segments of the telecommunications industry. Mr. Cashman graduated cum laude from Duke University receiving an AB in economics with distinction.
