Matt started his career in higher education in athletics rules compliance at The University of South Dakota and Oklahoma State University before transitioning into a fundraising role at North Dakota State University where he helped manage fundraising for North Dakota State Athletics, one of the premier fundraising shops in mid-major college athletics. Matt then transitioned to the North Dakota State University Foundation as a Managing Director of Development where he oversaw fundraising for several college units and had a leadership role in a campaign that raised nearly $600M.Dakota. He lives in Fargo with his wife Sara and sons Gino, Jack, and Luke, and enjoys golf, traveling.
