Douglas “D.J.” Asad is an Operating Partner at Longshore Capital. D.J. is responsible for portfolio company value creation efforts and strategy. Prior to joining Longshore, D.J. was the President and Head of Strategy at NGC, a portfolio company of Longshore Capital where he formulated and executed a transformative business thesis, pursued strategic M&A initiatives, and led a successful exit to a strategic acquirer. Before NGC, D.J. served as the CEO of Benefit Mobile which merged with NGC as part of a digital transformation strategy. Prior to Benefit and NGC, D.J. was a leader in the mobile/digital payments team at FIS. A Chicagoland native, D.J. received his BA/BS degrees in Business and Psychology from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management and the University of Arizona College of Science.
