Sonny Chan Bio

Sonny Chan is a Partner based in Hong Kong. He has been involved in investments including Amazon Papyrus, Quasar Engineering and EnTie Commercial Bank. Sonny is focused on deal sourcing, investment execution, post-investment value creation and exits of portfolio companies in Greater China. Prior to joining Longreach, Sonny was a Partner at Headland Capital Partners Ltd. (formerly HSBC Private Equity (Asia) Ltd.). In that role, Sonny was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in a broad range of private equity deal types across various industries in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Before Headland, Sonny was an Assistant Director for PAMA Group Inc. (formerly Prudential Asset Management Asia, Ltd.) where he executed private equity investments across Greater China and South Korea. Prior to PAMA, Sonny was an Investment Banking Analyst with Salomon Smith Barney in New York and Hong Kong.
