Dan Higgins Bio

Dan Higgins is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer at LNC Partners. Mr. Higgins has significant experience investing in private companies as a control equity sponsor, minority/growth equity investor, and as a lender. He has served as a director and active Board observer with multiple companies across a broad range of industries, including financial services, software and transaction processing, and equipment maintenance and repair. In these positions, Mr. Higgins has taken a hands-on role in supporting portfolio company growth by sourcing acquisitions, improving business processes, and supporting M&A execution and capital raising. In addition, Mr. Higgins is responsible for LNC’s investor reporting, accounting, tax, and SEC compliance. Prior to joining LNC in 2011, Mr. Higgins was a Vice President at Allied Capital Corporation and a Senior Associate in the Transaction Advisory Services Group at Ernst & Young LLP. He began his career in the Corporate Tax Group of Arthur Andersen LLP.
