Steven Kalter Bio

Mr. Kalter is a Managing Director on the Private Equity team and a member of the investment committee. Mr. Kalter rejoined Littlejohn as a Vice President in 2010 and was previously an Associate from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Kalter played key roles on various prior Littlejohn transactions including Installed Building Products, SunSource, GSE Environmental, Henniges Automotive, Kaman Distribution Group and Dana Kepner. Prior to Littlejohn, Mr. Kalter was a senior Credit Analyst at Longacre Fund Management, a distressed debt hedge fund. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kalter was an equity Research Associate at CIBC World Markets and an investment banking Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he covered the Firm’s leveraged finance and financial sponsors group. Mr. Kalter earned a B.S., cum laude, in Economics with a concentration in Finance and Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He received an M.B.A. with highest distinction from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
