Mike Asplin Bio

Mike is an Operating Partner focused on business intelligence and data analysis. Previously, Mike spent 4 years investing in and working with small businesses, developing their business intelligence skills and customer retention strategies. Prior to this, Mike worked for RBS, where he was Head of FX Proprietary Trading and prior to that Co-Head of Equity Derivatives. Mike started his career at BP Oil as a graduate trainee eventually joining BP’s in-house trading team. He received a BSc in Chemistry (1st Class) from the University of Southampton and was Captain in the Queens Regiment – Army Reserve
