Ben Strumeier Bio

Ben Strumeier is a Principal & Assistant General Counsel in Legal at Lightyear Capital. Prior to joining Lightyear in 2020, Mr. Strumeier was an Associate in the investment funds groups at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and, prior to that, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where he advised sponsors on legal aspects related to private equity funds. Previously, Mr. Strumeier spent six years at CohnReznick LLP, where he was a Senior Associate in the accounting firm’s financial services tax practice. Mr. Strumeier holds a B.A. in Accounting from Rutgers University and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.
