Rob Powell Bio

Rob is responsible for supporting LDC’s diverse portfolio businesses, helping the management teams to realise their growth ambitions. Rob joined LDC in 2015 and has more than 20 years’ private equity experience with previous roles at NatWest Equity Partners and Royal Bank Equity Finance. He has worked with businesses across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, support services, leisure and healthcare. He also spent four years with Premium Aircraft Interiors Group where he led the value improvement and exit maximisation work culminating in three separate disposals across Germany, the US and UK. Rob qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 with KPMG working in both corporate recovery and corporate finance teams. He is a keen participant in a range of mountain sports in both winter and summer.
