Jacob Leone Bio

Jacob identifies and supports ambitious management teams across the South looking to take the next step in their growth journey with the backing of a private equity partner. Since joining LDC in 2019, Jacob has supported the investments in artificial intelligence-based talent analytics platform Horsefly, digital agency CTI, IEG4, a leading provider of innovation software solutions, Marmalade Game Studio, the UK’s leading developer of mobile, console and PC board games, Rhino Products, a designer and manufacturer of premium external load carrying and restraint systems for light commercial vehicles, Omniplex, a global digital learning provider and MSQ’s acquisition of Be Heard Group. Jacob was previously an Associate Director in Grant Thornton’s M&A Corporate Finance team, where he worked on numerous mid-market private equity and corporate transactions. He has experience across a number of sectors including business services, consumer, technology and industrials. Jacob qualified as an accountant whilst part of Grant Thornton’s audit team.
