Katherine Kaye is the Controller for Lantern Capital Partners and Lantern Asset Management. Prior to joining Lantern, Mrs. Kaye was an Assistant Vice President at SandsPoint Capital Advisors, a boutique professional services firm providing fund accounting and consulting services for investment managers. During her tenure at SandsPoint, she was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of multiple private equity funds, comprising nearly $1 billion of domestic investments in commercial real estate, hotels and loan portfolios. Previous to her role at SandsPoint, Mrs. Kaye was a Senior Associate for KPMG in the audit practice where she focused on publicly listed clients ranging from multibillion-dollar department stores to high-end retailers. Mrs. Kaye started her career at KPMG in 2011 and brings 10 years of experience in accounting and funds management to the Lantern team. Mrs. Kaye is a Certified Public Accountant and received both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in business and accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
