Sanjiv Mehta Bio

Mr. Mehta is an Executive Chairman of L Catterton India. He is a consumer-focused executive with extensive senior leadership and global operational experience. With approximately four decades of experience, including 32 years with the Unilever Group, he has deep insights into the consumer industry. Mr. Mehta is a non-executive independent director at Danone, Air India Limited, and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. He is also the President Commissioner of Unilever Indonesia PT and sits on the South Asia Advisory Board of Harvard Business School. He has also been the President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry from 2021 to 2022 and was a member of Unilever Group’s global executive management team from 2019 to 2023. For the last 21 years, Mr. Mehta also held other Executive Chairman / CEO roles in various Unilever businesses across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
