Mr. Chang is a Managing Partner at L Catterton and the Co-Head of Private Credit. Mr. Chang has over 22 years of relevant experience in the private credit and leveraged finance industries. Prior to joining L Catterton, Mr. Chang spent nearly 20 years at Oaktree Capital Management, most recently as a Co-Portfolio Manager and Managing Director in the U.S. Private Debt / Direct Lending Group, which provided flexible debt and equity capital solutions to middle market companies backed by private equity sponsors. As a Co-Portfolio Manager, Mr. Chang was responsible for the overall management of the portfolio and the investment strategies, including the approval of all investment opportunities. Mr. Chang was also involved in various business development initiatives, including establishing Oaktree’s inaugural SBIC fund. Before joining Oaktree, Mr. Chang started his career in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance Group at JPMorgan Securities Inc., where he focused mainly on executing high-yield and leverage loan transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. Mr. Chang has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
