Steven Siegel Bio

Steve is a co-founder of KSL and currently serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Steve serves on the firm's Management Committee and Investment Committees. Prior to KSL, Steve acted as KSL's predecessor's outside counsel since 2002. Beginning in 1995, he was a partner of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C., where he served as Chair of the Corporate and Securities Department and as a member of the firm's Executive Committee. From 1990 through 1995, Steve was with the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, becoming a partner in 1993. He began his legal career as an associate with Cravath Swaine & Moore in 1987. Steve is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Colorado. Steve holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Steve is a member of the board of directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
