Peter Mcdermott Bio

Peter is a co-founder of KSL and currently serves as the firm's Chief Investment Officer. As CIO, Peter co-heads the firm's Investment Committees and is a member of the firm's Management Committee. Peter joined KSL's predecessor in 2003, serving as Director of Acquisitions and Corporate Finance. Previously, he was an investment banking Analyst at Alex. Brown & Sons and an Associate at J.H. Whitney & Co. Peter is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable and Stanford Alumni Real Estate Council. He holds a B.A. in Economics (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
