Kang Xu Bio

Kang Xu (Shanghai) joined KKR in 2013 and is a member of the Private Equity team. At KKR, Mr. Xu has played a significant role in KKR's investments in Cue & Co, LCY Chemical and Gambol Pet Group, and is currently a board member of Cue & Co. He has also worked on a number of KKR’s portfolio companies including Sunner Development, United Envirotech and Asia Dairy. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Xu was with The Blackstone Group’s mergers and acquisitions advisory team in Hong Kong, where he worked on multiple cross-border transactions. Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Xu worked for McKinsey & Company in its Shanghai and Frankfurt offices. Mr. Xu holds a B.A. in Economics from Nanjing University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
