Chris Arena Bio

Christopher Arena (New York) joined KKR's Internal Audit team in 2011. Mr. Arena collaborates on all aspects of Internal Audit’s risk based universe and four-year plan. He is directly responsible for the audit execution of the Public Markets segment. Previously, Mr. Arena acted as an executive director and global head of the asset management division for Morgan Stanley Internal Audit. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of the cyclical internal audit plan including oversight of the full time staff located in five regional locations. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked for both Merrill Lynch and Bankers Trust in various capacities supporting the business-side of asset management. Mr. Arena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rowan University.
