Carla King Bio

Carla King (New York) joined KKR as corporate counsel in the Legal Department in 2017. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. King was a corporate transactional attorney for Sotheby’s, Inc., a global publicly traded company engaged in art auction, private sales and art-related financing activities. From 2005 to 2010, Ms. King was a corporate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York where she advised both lenders and borrowers in connection with syndicated leveraged finance and other commercial lending transactions. Ms. King holds a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
