Jimbo Izlar Bio

Jimbo joined Kian Capital in September 2023 and is primarily responsible for investment sourcing and screening, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio management. Prior to joining Kian Capital, Jimbo was with KLH Capital, a private equity firm focused on founder-owned businesses, where he was involved in all phases of the investment process including transaction structuring, deal execution and portfolio company management. During his time at KLH Capital, Jimbo worked extensively with specialty service, value-added distribution and niche manufacturing businesses across a variety of industrial end markets. In addition, he served on the board of directors for four different portfolio companies, working closely with management and other board members to identify and execute on a variety of strategic initiatives. Jimbo holds a B.A. in History and Economics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
