Peter Knell Bio

Peter, through an affiliated fund, manages a real estate portfolio including being responsible for purchasing over $1 billion of assets. Peter has been a board member for many not-for-profit institutions. Peter serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies, including Spiral Binding (largest independent business-to-business supplier of document finishing and binding supplies and equipment in the U.S.) and ThriftBooks (largest e-retailer of used books). Peter earned a B.A., with highest honors, from Princeton University, a Master’s of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Doctorate in Music Composition from the University of Texas. Peter’s compositions have received international awards and recognition.
