Kyle Murphy Bio

Kyle Murphy is a vice president for Kayne Anderson’s energy private equity strategies. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2019, Murphy served as an associate for NGP, focusing on sourcing investments, transaction analysis, and execution as well as the monitoring of active portfolios. Murphy began his career as an analyst in the investment banking group of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., where he was involved in numerous M&A and financial advisory engagements for upstream oil and gas companies. Murphy earned a B.B.A. in Business Honors and Finance from Texas A&M University.
