Steven brings to Kain Capital over 30 years of experience as an accomplished investor, operating executive, board member, and consultant in the healthcare services, healthcare IT, and life sciences sectors. Most recently he was a Venture Partner at OrbiMed Advisors where he was responsible for healthcare IT and services investments. He has also served as founder, CEO, and/or part of the senior leadership team at seven healthcare start-ups, two of which achieved unicorn status and two that executed successful IPO’s. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD from UC. Berkeley and an AB from Dartmouth College.
