Dennis Nesta Bio

Dennis is an Operating Partner at Kain Capital. Dennis has nearly 20 years of diverse healthcare experience across health plans and providers. Dennis has specialized in transforming organizations into value-based care. Dennis’ relationship with Kain began when he was the CFO of Excelsior, a Kain portfolio company. After Dennis help to lead the merger of Excelsior and Rendr, Dennis became the Chief Strategy Officer for Rendr, a medical group serving over 200K chinese patients in NYC. In his role at Rendr, he led the transition from fee-for-service to managing roughly $1bn in risk premium. Dennis has held several local market and corporate leadership roles at Aetna and Cigna. Notably, Dennis helped to structure and launch joint-venture products with health systems. Dennis was also a Regional CFO for ChenMed where, among many things, he led the contracting and business development work with payers.
