Ashish is CTO at Kain Capital. He has been a computer scientist, tech innovator and leader in multiple roles across Wall street, Tech and Startups. For 6 years, he led the Machine Learning team for Google’s Smart Ads Bidding and Optimization, launching many products and models for maximum search effectiveness and revenue. He was a quant developer at the quantitative hedge fund D.E. Shaw ($60 billion AUM), creating advanced systems for hedging, market making and trading. More recently, he was the Co-founder/CEO of VC backed data automation startup Polymer Search. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University and undergrad (CS) from IIT Delhi.
