Alvaro Mata Bio

Mr Mata’s responsibilities include structuring, negotiating and executing micro cap buyouts and assisting with their management in Spain and Portugal. Before joining JZ International’s London office in 2013, Mr. Mata worked with Audley Capital, an event-driven investment manager based in London, focussing on southern European Investments. Mr. Mata also was a partner at inception of Black Toro Capital, a distressed-for-control European private equity firm. Prior to this, Mr. Mata worked with N+1 (now ALANTRA) in the M&A and restructuring division in Madrid. Mr. Mata holds a Master in Economics and BA from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
