William Nicholson Bio

William is a Principal on the strategic development team at IMC, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities within the food service and hospitality sectors. He works closely with IMC’s partner companies supporting growth strategy, financial analysis and project management. Prior to joining IMC in 2018, William worked for five years in operational, strategy and business development roles at Biologics, Inc. and McKesson Specialty Health, where he developed a deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and health care industries. During his tenure, he supported strategic planning while also facilitating mergers and acquisitions and leading the subsequent integrations. William earned a master’s degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. William grew up in Raleigh, where he now lives with his wife Lauren, daughter Reese, son Bates, and their golden retriever, Duck.
