Gernot Hofer Bio

Gernot Hofer has been working for Invest Unternehmensbeteiligungs AG since 2005. He has been a member of the Management Board since 2014 and assumed the position of Chairman of the Management Board in 2023. Prior to that, he gained international experience at a management consultancy in Hong Kong and at a Vienna-based venture capital fund. From 2010 to 2017, Gernot Hofer was also a member of the Management Board of Tyrol Equity AG. Gernot Hofer studied commercial science at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and earned his doctorate in private equity from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, where he currently also works as a university lecturer in private equity.
