Jean-Michel Laveu Bio

Jean-Michel began his career in 1998 at a real estate investment fund (Archon Group, Goldman Sachs) then moved into M&A advisory at Merrill Lynch, in London and then in Paris. He joined Initiative & Finance in 2003 as an investment manager, before becoming a partner in 2008. Jean-Michel has been involved in various Bimbo, MBO and spin-off operations, including the spin-off of Akanéa (Sage group), which produces software packages for the food processing and supply chain industries, and the MBO of Extruflex, an international designer and producer of flexible PVC strips, panels and films for industrial doors. Jean-Michel is a graduate of INSA Lyon and has a Master’s in Financial Techniques from ESSEC.
