John Di Re Bio

John Di Re is Managing Director, Fundamental Equity at IMCO. He joined IMCO in March 2021 with over 18 years of global equities experience. Prior to joining IMCO, John worked on the Global Equities team at Foyston, Gordon & Payne (FGP) where he was responsible for expanding research coverage, investment recommendations and formalizing the ESG process for the global portfolio. Before FGP, John spent 11 years as a Senior Principal, Global Active Equities at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), where he had direct portfolio management responsibilities for a $500 million global Healthcare and Industrials portfolio. Additionally, John was a key member in several strategic, negotiated investments at OTPP. John holds a Bachelor of Science (Toxicology) degree from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a CFA charter holder.
