KC Mahan Bio

KC joined IMB in 2024 and is Vice President of Finance with 10 years of experience in accounting, private equity fund management, and investor relations. Prior to joining IMB, KC was Vice President of Investor Relations and Fund Accounting at TMG, a real estate owner-operator and investment manager of core+, value-add, opportunistic, and development real estate strategies. At TMG, KC managed financial reporting, capital fundraising, and investor relations for TMG’s private equity real estate investment funds. She also served as TMG’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee Chair and managed TMG’s entire ESG program and ESG reporting. KC also worked at The Carlyle Group from 2014-2016 where she managed financial reporting and analysis for the Japan and US buyout private equity strategies. She began her career with PwC, where she was involved in the audit of companies in the technology and mass media industries. KC received her B.S. and M.S. in accounting from the College of William and Mary.
