Varun is a Managing Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team based in New York. Varun currently sits on the boards of Patriot Rail and US Signal. Prior to joining the business in 2014, first in Sydney before relocating to New York in 2019, Varun worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in the internal M&A team. Varun holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Accounting from Macquarie University in Sydney. He is also a charter holder with the CFA Institute and Chartered Accountants Australia.
