Jay Chong Bio

Jay is a Director in the Infrastructure Investments team. He is based in Sydney and has been with the business since 2010. Jay is responsible for the team’s transactions origination and due diligence process, as well as asset management functions within the team. He currently represents Igneo on the Board of Tuatahi First Fibre in New Zealand. Prior to joining the team, Jay worked for two years in the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). During this time, he gained experience in CBA’s strategic development and investment decision teams, where he was responsible for evaluating M&A opportunities. Jay completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts from the University of New South Wales, majoring in Finance and Accounting. He is a CFA® charterholder and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
