Paul Malan Bio

Paul is Senior Partner, Chair of iCON’s Management Board and Investment Committee and is a member of the board of the general partners within the iCON group of funds. Paul has been investing in infrastructure for over 20 years. He commenced his career over three decades ago at Macquarie Bank, established the team that became iCON within Deutsche Bank in 2004 and then led the spin-out of iCON to become an independent business in 2011. Paul holds Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce, majoring in Actuarial Studies, and Law (University of Melbourne).
