Helen Gunson Bio

Helen is iCON’s Head of Tax and joined the team in 2022. Helen has over ten years of professional experience. Prior to joining iCON, Helen practised as a tax lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for over 13 years, advising clients on the tax aspects of M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, finance transactions and equity and debt capital markets transactions. In her role Helen is responsible for overseeing the tax matters of iCON, its respective funds and the tax considerations of prospective investments. Helen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law with Law Studies in Europe (France) (Oxford University) and a post-graduate diploma in legal studies (BPP College of Professional Studies).
