Chris Smith Bio

Chris is a Director and joined the team in 2025. Chris has over 30 years of professional experience and has held several senior leadership roles in corporate development, finance and operations. Chris joined iCON from Ports America, where he served as Vice President of Corporate Development, leading the company’s strategy development and execution, M&A and joint venture oversight. Chris is primarily focused on overseeing investments across iCON’s funds. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from West Virginia Wesleyan.
