R. Sean Durkin Bio

Sean Durkin is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer – Hudson Northern Shipping at Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd. Most recently, Mr. Durkin was a founding partner and served as the President of Northern Shipping Fund Management LLC and its predecessors from 2008 until the firm was acquired by Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd. in 2022. Prior to Northern Shipping Fund Management LLC, Mr. Durkin held several senior positions at Northern Navigation Group where he was instrumental in organizing the formation of the NFC Shipping Funds and its predecessors. Mr. Durkin also held senior positions at United Waste Systems where his responsibilities included corporate acquisitions, divestitures, and the integration of acquired business. Mr. Durkin began his career at Ernst & Young in the audit and small business development group. Mr. Durkin graduated from Villanova University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
