Stephen Fisher Bio

Stephen J. Fisher is a Partner at Hudson Ferry Capital where he focuses on sourcing, structuring and creating value in private equity investments. Mr. Fisher is a member of the Board of Directors of VIRA Insight, Percheron Holdings, American Signcrafters and ALCOM. Prior to co-founding Hudson Ferry Capital, Mr. Fisher was a Managing Director at Liberty Capital Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm. During his 11 years at Liberty Partners, he was responsible for all aspects of private equity investing. Previously, Mr. Fisher was an attorney for five years with the private equity practice group of Kirkland & Ellis. While at Kirkland & Ellis, he gained extensive private equity transaction experience as he structured, negotiated and closed over 50 private equity transactions. Mr. Fisher has served on the boards of numerous privately held companies throughout his investment career. Mr. Fisher received his JD, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. He received an MBA and a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis.
