John Vitols Bio

Mr. Vitols is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2018, Mr. Vitols worked as an Associate and Vice President at THL Credit, where he evaluated investments in leveraged loans and high yield securities. Mr. Vitols has also held roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Vitols is a CFA charterholder and holds a BS in Finance and Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
