Mr. Watson is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2017, Mr. Watson was a Vice President at American Capital, where he was responsible for the Consumer Goods & Services, Retail, and Metals & Mining sectors. Prior to joining ACAS, Mr. Watson was an Associate in the Acquisition Finance Group at ING Capital, where he underwrote and managed middle market leveraged loans. Prior to ING Capital, Mr. Watson was an Analyst in the Leveraged Loan Portfolio Management Group at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Watson began his career as an Analyst in the Sponsor Finance Division of CIT Group. Mr. Watson is a CFA charterholder and holds a BS in Finance and General Management from Boston College.
