Mr. Stainton is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2016, Mr. Stainton worked at Bain Capital Credit for seven years, where he sourced, evaluated and executed a range of debt and equity investments. Mr. Stainton led Bain Capital’s European Corporate Distressed and Special Situations Team and played a key role in launching the NPL and Real Estate strategy. Mr. Stainton holds a Double First Class BA from Merton College, University of Oxford and an MPhil from Robinson College, University of Cambridge.
