Olga Kovalchuk is Head of People Advisory and HR Director at Horizon Capital. Olga brings over 15 years of blended experience across international and local businesses — from fast-growing teams of 10 to complex organizations of 12,000+ employees — spanning Human Resources, Executive Search, Sales, and Business Development. Prior to joining Horizon Capital, Olga led the HR function at Astarta, one of the few successful IPO stories from Ukraine, where she drove large-scale organizational redesign and culture transformation. She also held a Senior Consultant role at WE Partners, an alliance of Korn Ferry, one of the world’s leading executive search firms. Today, working closely with Horizon’s investment professionals, Olga provides strategic people advisory to founders and portfolio leadership teams, guided by the principle that people are the core asset of any business. She leads both human capital development and executive search initiatives, with a particular focus on CEO and top-team effectiveness, change, and gender-balanced leadership teams that support long-term value creation. Olga holds a Master’s degree from INSEAD and a degree in Psychology from Sumy State University. She has completed three levels of advanced professional coaching training with People Dynamics Learning Group (Canada).
