Gunnar Halvorsen Bio

Gunnar Halvorsen joined the team in 1997 as an investment manager in one of HitecVision’s predecessor companies. At HitecVision he has been involved in investment activities throughout the entire energy industry, with particular expertise in the E&P. Gunnar is currently focusing on development of portfolio companies from industrial transformation to the energy transition. His previous experience includes several years in financial and M&A positions with oil company Amoco in Norway and the US. He has also held positions at Kreditkassen bank and oil service company BJ Hughes. Gunnar holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Colorado.
