Jeff Turner Bio

Jeff Turner is the Managing Partner of Hillcrest Capital Partners. Prior to forming Hillcrest, Jeff was Co-Head of the Middle Market Mergers & Acquisitions Group at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis. During his tenure at Piper Jaffray, Jeff advised hundreds of clients in a wide variety of industries in merger and acquisition transactions and significantly expanded Piper Jaffray’s geographic footprint by opening M&A offices in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and London. Jeff has been invited to speak at mergers and acquisitions symposiums around the country. Jeff began his career in the middle market structured finance group at Chemical Bank, where he analyzed, structured and negotiated leveraged buyout transactions. Jeff graduated from Amherst College and received a master of business management degree with distinction from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Jeff currently is the Chairman of the Board of DP Doors & Millwork, LLC and is Past Chairman of the Board of Bedford Technology, LLC, EZ Gard Industries, Inc. (dba Shock Doctor, Inc.), Forsythe Appraisals, LLC, and Premier Restaurant Equipment Company, LLC. Jeff is also a member of the Board of Directors of Prevent Biometrics and the Board of Directors of the Turner Family Foundation. He previously served as a board member of College Possible, the Jeremiah Program, the Galtier Society, SALO, LLC and The Minikahda Club.
