Steven Pell Bio

Steve joined Hilco Capital in 2008 and as an Investment Director, he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and managing investment opportunities across a range of sectors and geographies. Since joining the firm, he has structured and managed numerous retail, manufacturing, engineering and distribution transactions across the UK, Europe and Canada. Steve specialises in opportunities which are underperforming, non-core subsidiaries, retirement sales or which are distressed, and he works with businesses ranging in size from large corporates to SME’s. A German speaker, he is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Hilco Capital, Steve worked for a leading international advisory and restructuring practice where he worked closely with a variety of stakeholders to design, advise on and implement restructuring and turnaround processes across a number of jurisdictions. His background includes working capital management, M&A, refinancing, cost reduction and financial and operational turnaround and restructuring.
