Michael Sherman Bio

Michael engages as an operating executive and leader in our portfolio companies, with an emphasis that includes consumer products, food service/hospitality, ingredients and food/beverage. He works closely with portfolio company management teams to develop and execute strategic plans, with the objective of improving top/bottom line growth and cash flow through the use of various levers. He also plays a key role in sourcing and analyzing potential opportunities across these categories. Michael joined Highlander in 2019 and was a senior executive at Pinnacle Foods until it was sold in 2018. Prior to Pinnacle, he worked in several roles focusing on procurement, supply chain, and commodity risk management at Kraft & KraftHeinz, Ahold and M&M Mars. He started his business career as a commodity trader-working for both Cargill and Louis Dreyfus. Michael is a former US Army Artillery Officer.
