Michael Shanahan Bio

Mr. Shanahan is responsible for sourcing new acquisition opportunities in the Midwest Region as well as overseeing all investment, asset management and operations of its 8.6 million square foot portfolio. Prior to his current role, he was the senior member of High Street’s asset management group while managing all leasing, property management and dispositions for the region. Mr. Shanahan originally joined High Street in June 2017 as a senior investment analyst responsible for the underwriting, market research, and subsequent phases of the acquisitions process for each of High Street’s regions. Prior to joining High Street, Mr. Shanahan was a Senior Associate in the Economic Valuation Services practice at KPMG LLP where he worked on a wide range of valuation engagements for consulting and financing purposes, feasibility studies, due diligence matters and litigation support. Mr. Shanahan received his BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Shanahan is a member of High Street’s Fair Market Value Committee.
