Tom Vallance Bio

Tom is the firm’s Tax Director. Tom specialises in tax aspects of M&A and has extensive experience of working with businesses on tax issues arising at each stage of the investment lifecycle. In his role at Hg, Tom leads tax input across M&A transactions, fund and portfolio structuring, and supports Hg portfolio companies on tax matters and related best practice. Tom graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc in Biochemistry and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
