Elias Yazbeck Bio

Mr. Yazbeck has over 15 years of experience in financial services and fintech sectors. Prior to joining Helios in January 2023, he served as Group Director, Head of Growth at VEON, a leading Emerging Market telecom operator. Previously, Mr. Yazbeck was Facebook’s Head of Finserv Partnership and Market Development for EMEA and held leadership positions at Mastercard. Earlier in his career, he was also a management consultant advising financial services institutions across Middle East and Africa. Mr. Yazbeck holds a Masters in M&A from London’s BAYES Business School and a Bachelor of International Commerce from the ESCE in Paris. A French national with Lebanese origins, Mr. Yazbeck speaks French and Arabic.
